Preservation of your valuable information and historical significance of these documents is undeniably a large concern for many cemeteries today. It is with this purpose in mind that INTERA has developed a process to ensure the functional preservation of your records in a timely, affordable and safe manner.
We have the ability to scan many different forms of documents:
· Lot cards
· Ledger books
· Licenses
· Contracts
· Maps
Your documents should never leave your premises and will not throughout our scanning process.
We complete our work on site utilizing as little space as possible as not to disrupt your daily operations. Our scanners will convert your documents from paper to a high-resolution TIF format using CCITT Group 4 (2d) compression. This way your documents will be clear and won't take up too much room on your hard drive.
Archiving your cemetery documents and records in the form of digital images on PC not only allows your staff to search, view, print and update your documents quickly and easily, but provides a safe efficient long-term storage of your business's most valuable asset … "Information".We can train your staff to scan with our equipment. This allows for your records to be digitized at your own pace and most importantly, reducing the overall cost of the project.
