DOCUMENT IMAGING
Intera is the industry's pioneer of Document Imaging for cemetery records. (See Article in "The American Cemetery for June 1999.")
CemOffice Document Imaging has two components:
1. Scanning; and,
2. Document management.
The scanning component creates the electronic image of any cemetery record, which is then linked to the management database for easy retrieval and viewing. Also, our integrated imaging editor allows you to update information without re-scanning the original document, providing on-going flexibility to your cemetery’s document needs.
The document management component allows you to define any type of document to a particular record. Searchable by name, location, or contract number, each scanned document is electronically referenced to the appropriate owner or interment. Modern technology is working hand-in-hand to preserve the meaning and historical value of your original paper documents.
CemOffice delivers this functionality, converting your paper documents into a digital format for realizing the benefits of document imaging. With CemOffice’s leading tools, these converted images are securely protected, managed, and retrieved – avoiding the potential decay that physical documents rarely withstand.
No more filing cabinets and endless searching for interment cards, ledger books, contracts, invoices, proof of delivery, etc. Document scanning incorporates paper documents within an integrated electronic document management system – storing your records safely, with instant retrieval, for generations to come.
Accordingly, as regulatory and disaster recovery requirements increase, Document Imaging becomes a required component for any content management solution.
